Kanwar Engineering was engaged to deliver comprehensive electrical design and 3D modelling for a state-of-the-art hydrogen plant. The project focused on ensuring energy efficiency, operational safety, and adherence to industry standards for hydrogen production and handling.

Electrical Design:

Designed the complete electrical power distribution system, including medium-voltage and low-voltage systems.

Developed single line diagram, cable schedule, load list, MCC building layout, equipment sizing etc. for critical systems such as electrolyzers, compressors, and auxiliary systems.

Ensured compliance with relevant standards, including NFPA 70E, NEC, and hydrogen plant-specific safety regulations.

Integrated emergency power supply systems, including UPS and backup generators, to maintain reliability.

3D Modeling and Visualization:

Created a detailed electrical 3D model of the entire electrical infrastructure using AutoCAD 3D Plant, ensuring spatial accuracy and seamless integration with other disciplines.

Incorporated all major electrical equipment, cable trays, conduits, and grounding systems into the 3D model.

Conducted clash detection and resolved conflicts during the design stage to prevent construction delays.

Delivered realistic visualizations for client review, aiding in the understanding of the system layout and functionality.

Designed control systems for process automation, integrating sensors, PLCs, and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.
